The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. The Army of Gaia stormed into Switzerland a few weeks back (on tour with Vader and Vomitory) and the Greek Gods Aetherian completely overwhelmed me with joy! Damn this is good! Melodic DM masterpiece indeed! I really love all songs but am really obsessed with the first four. Can't wait to see them live on stage again soon! Fans of Rotting Christ would like these Greek guys too :)
